AI is fast becoming a favourite tool of students across the globe. It is easily able to handle our most common assessment prompts, forcing teachers to reconsider how we set assignments. In this workshop, we will use the https://ai.ycyw.com to understand how students are fast-tracking their answers and bypassing learning. We will also identify key features of AI-proof assignment prompts and suggest strategies for incorporating AI in the classroom.
For example – Traditional take-home research assignments are easy for AI to generate without students needing to understand material but oral presentations and discussions genuinely test student understanding.
