Abstract: In our Webinar last year, I gave a presentation entitled “Maintaining the Point of Origin – Curriculum Planning and Practice of Chinese Language Teaching”. This year, I will start out from this “point of origin” and attempt to provide a new interpretation of a famous text known as “Little Tadpole Looking for its Mother”. By rendering a novel teaching plan, I hope I can provide a fresh new insight into the text. Through watching the footage of an old lesson, participants will be able to see how the dynamics of a lesson can be enhanced by emphasising the three focuses of the text.
