Abstract: We believe that every child is unique. Therefore, our school has chosen to use the learning portfolio as a tool to showcase the unique development of our children. The learning profile illustrates the growth and development of the child throughout the school year. It is also an assessment tool for early childhood education and must be observed objectively, providing evidence to identify, collect, describe and demonstrate children's learning and development. Another objective of the Learning Profile is to enable parents to engage in dialogue with their children around the content of the Profile and to understand their progress and development. Once we understand the purpose and value of a learning portfolio, we will explore how best to write it. Through this workshop, we will explore and share how to write a document that combines recording and analysis (development/competence), how to use pictures or cut out pictures, how to use words... and so on. We hope to support teachers to better present their learning portfolios and help parents to gain a deeper understanding of their children.
