Abstract: Collaboration and co-teaching model, are seen as a critical element in the work processes, which fits the ethos and the mission of our schools. Co-teaching is promoted in different ways; where it is not instituted, practitioners can identify opportunities for sustained or ad hoc co-teaching practices. The challenges for the practice are that the gains are sometimes either not optimal or maximized. The workshop aims, therefore, to provide an insight into the distinctive demands of co-teaching and how it can effectively be deployed. The workshop targets teaching practitioners who are either involved in co-teaching or have an opportunity to initiate co-teaching long/short-term programmes, from ECE to Secondary. Prior to the workshop, participants will be provided with key research findings to inform their reflections. Participants will be required to prepare and share their thoughts in the workshop session.
