Abstract: Stronger family-school partnerships support student achievement and can make our mission and vision a reality. Understanding the need to invest in the power of good ‘word of mouth’, at YCIS Pudong we developed our Parent Ambassador program. Our Parent Ambassadors are selected because they are key connectors and influencers within our YCIS community and the community at large. They partner with the school and act as accelerators by working on key initiatives and finding ways to strategically utilize existing resources and untapped treasures to multiply impact. Parent Ambassadors are authentic reputation builders—they strengthen our learning community as they are busy working to enhance and provide more learning opportunities for our students. 

In this workshop, which will feature both Parent Ambassadors and members of our academic team and Institutional Advancement, we will discuss how Parent Ambassadors can help with reputation management for the school, but also how their connections and influence can help leverage resources that enhance learning opportunities for our students from PBL experiences to equipment to access to experts in various fields and even internships. There will be time for discussion and Q&A.

摘要：更牢固的家校合作关系可以支持学生取得成就，并使我们的使命和愿景得以实现。意识到投资于“良好口碑”的必要性，故此在上海耀中（浦东）成立了家长大使计划。家长大使获选，是基于他们是我们，乃至整个社区的重要联系人和影响者。他们与学校合作，推动关键举措以及通过策略性运用现有资源，藉此扩大影响力。家长大使是真正的声誉建立者 - 他们忙于为我们的学生提供更多学习机会的同时，加巩固了我们的学习社区。

家长大使、我们学术团队以及机构资源拓展部的同事，都将参加本次工作坊。我们将讨论家长大使如何帮助学校进行声誉管理；以及他们的关系和影响力，如何帮助运用资源来增加学习机会，为学生提供从 PBL 经验到设备，到接触各个领域的专家甚至实习机会。工作坊将包含讨论和问答环节。
