A crucial question in this current climate is how technology, especially AI is going to impact the future of work and therefore how can schools best prepare students for this. This session will delve into the impending landscape of work, emphasizing the role of education in shaping this evolving reality.

The session centres on the intersection of digital technology and education, examining the future of work considering technological advancements. It delves into historical perspectives, contrasting dystopian and utopian narratives, and underscores the pivotal role of education in preparing individuals for the changing demands of the workforce. Participants will engage in a group activity envisioning the role of education in 2030 concerning the future of work. In our groups we will consider the roles of different stakeholders in education and discuss how can education system and teaching methods to provide students with the skills they will need to thrive in the long-term work environment.
