Abstract: Since the 2016 - 2017 academic year, YCIS Beijing has been implementing the learning community model in Year 3, and the Chinese Language department in the primary section has also been actively integrating the themes of the subject in the learning communities. In this presentation, I am going to share with teachers the experiences of YCIS Beijing in integrating Chinese language learning in the learning communities over the past few years, and to throw light on the further development of this undertaking within the new Chinese curriculum.
