Abstract: The focus of this Presentation will be introducing the YCIS Shanghai Puxi Year 8 PBL titled "Xin Ren." Several aspects of this project will be discussed including but not limited to:

· The team building workshop where the unit was developed.

· The content of the unit and its cross-curricular nature including: Science, Math, English, Humanities and Chinese Studies.

· The driving question and how that provides a central focus for the entire unit.

· The inspiration for the unit and its relationship to the YCYW TEDx Youth Event in 2020

· The embedding of a bilingual learning community focus into the unit.

· The scheduling, planning and development of the unit with a focus on building relationships across subject areas and within the Year 8 teacher team.
