Abstract: This workshop explores examples of collaborative learning in Chinese as an Additional Language classes in lower secondary (Years 7, 8 and 9), and shares how to differentiate instruction according to the needs of the students. Through these, we aim at promoting self-directed learning and to give each student the best learning experience. I will be sharing my teaching experiences in the following two aspects: daily teaching and project-based teaching. I am looking forward to discussing with you how to cater more effectively for learners’ diversity in learning communities.
