Abstract: The focus will be cross curricular between Chinese and English themes. The students will be introduced and develop skills in their mother tongue, Chinese in prose. This will be built upon and consolidated in English after the students have a grounding in Chinese. We will demonstrate the steps needed in which to assemble a curriculum plan and scheme of work and show how it should be implemented and accessible to the students of all abilities. We will show the outcome of different abilities and explain the support given to each of our focus students - most supported, minimum guidance and independent students.
