Year: Depends how much you trust your students. That is another conversation for another day. It's simply about how well the STUDENTS can use the tech on their devices such as WeChat app, browsers and other programmes

Abstract: Teachers find it exhausting to run from laptop to class, turning around to face different screens or people.It's far easier to simply ask the students to make the call, whether video or voice. I did it many times in my Economics lessons in September. Every student has WeChat open on their laptop or iPad anyway, so I simply asked them to start a call for me. I also give every student a USB with 3GB (for IGCSE) and 8GB (for IB) at the start of the year. This means that online learning is a breeze anyway. They have almost everything they need, except news links and recently made files.

The students can be my mediator, work in pairs, quiz each other, find info together, share links and screenshots. It works. It's easy. I can just get on with teaching.
