Abstract: Classrooms are filled with students who have different needs, come from different educational backgrounds, have different attention spans and interests, and have different language abilities and cultural backgrounds. UDL (Universal Design for Learning) is not a checklist of things to do, it's a new lens for thinking about everything you do (Brooke's publishing). It is a framework aimed at meeting the needs of all types of students in the classroom. This presentation will be a short introduction and overview of the components of the UDL framework, and how this can support all learners in an inclusive classroom.
