Abstract: Excel With IXL is a workshop for both IXL newbies and veterans. IXL is a personalized learning platform that is proven to improve learning outcomes for all students. IXL’s comprehensive K-12 curriculum  provides teachers and administrators real-time diagnostic data that can be used to differentiate learning, set small groups, and help students grow. IXL's 8,500 skills covers math, language arts, and science standards. During the Excel With IXL workshop, the facilitator will share  her teaching and learning journey, as a newbie,  over the past 5 months with IXL. Using IXL as a differentiation tool, has transformed her language arts lesson planning by setting up flexible small targeted groups based on real time diagnostic data. Participants in this workshop will learn how to uncover hidden insights with IXL Analytics,  transform classroom instruction with group jams, set up formative assessments with IXL quizzes, and accelerate learning with IXL personalized action plans. Finally, participants will be able to share their own experience, ask questions, and gain a better understanding why more than 400,000 teachers worldwide are using IXL in their classrooms.
