Abstract:  In this workshop, we will explore  how better to integrate traditional Chinese classics such as poetry into classroom teaching. We will also look at how to motivate students using a range of approaches, and how to combine ancient texts with the core elements of modern language training, narrowing the gap between the ancient and the modern, and working together to develop students' language literacy.
